Upside-down Uri
This is Uri.
Try to pick him out among the upside-down faces.
The human brain is an expert at identifying
faces. But it seems we're not quite as good at identifying upside-down
faces.
The human face is unique in the shape of its parts and their relative distance from each other. The faces here all have the same features but different distances between them. When you turn them up-side down, the brain loses its sensitivity to the relationships between the features, and all the faces appear to be identical.
